COUPLES
PROFESSIONAL COUPLE - competition among professional dancers intended to give them an opportunity to prove their excellence before other dancers in order to gain the title of Australian Bachata Champions 2017.

  • The professional / Instructor dancer: is one who has danced for up to three years and makes money from dancing or teaching Bachata.

SEMI - ROFESSIONAL COUPLE - competition among semi professional dancers intended to give them an opportunity to prove their excellence before other dancers in order to gain the title of Australian Semi - Pro Bachata Champions 2017.

  • The semi-professional dancer: is one who is a experience dancer and may have up for at to two years as an assistant instructor and who’s money earned from dancing or teaching that not exceeded more than $5000 per year.

PROFESSIONAL / AMATEUR COUPLE (PRO/AM) – An opportunity for Students / Amateurs dancers to dance with a Professional / Instructor and to take their dancing to the next level, shine on the dance floor in order to gain the title of Australian Bachata Champion in the Professional/ Amateur Category. NOTE in this Category Judges will ONLY score the performance of the Amateur dancer.

  • The Professional / Instructor dancer: is one who has danced for up to three years and makes money from dancing or teaching Bachata dancing with an Amateur dancer.

AMATEUR COUPLE - the objective of the competition at this level is to distinguish and acknowledge the best amateurs dancers and to foster the community of like-minded dance-loving people and bring energy, fun, joy and beauty of dance to young and grown-ups alike. Winner, 2nd and 3rd Places will be awarded in this category.

  • The amateur dancer: is one who has danced for up to two years and does not make money from Bachata.

TEAMS
OPEN SHINES
The Team can be formed by a minimum of 6 dancers and a maximum of 16 dancers of any gender combination dancing Bachata shines at the same time. Professional and Amateurs dancers can form this team.

PROFESSIONAL TEAM
The Team can be formed by a minimum of 3 couples and a maximum of 12 couples dancing Bachata at the same time. Professional and Amateurs dancers can form this team.

AMATEUR TEAM
The Team can be formed by a minimum of 3 couples and a maximum of 12 couples dancing Bachata at the same time. ONLY ONLY Amateurs dancers can form this team.
